Booking policies

Last updated September 2026. These policies are part of every booking and are confirmed in your contract.

Reserving your date

Your date is held once two things are in: a signed contract and your non-refundable deposit. Until both are received, the date stays open to other clients.

• Bridal bookings: $300 non-refundable deposit.
• Special occasions: $100 non-refundable deposit.
• Contracts not signed within 7 days of being sent are void, and the date is released.
• Your deposit is applied to your final total.

Wedding-day minimum

Wedding-day bookings require a minimum of four services (for example, bridal hair and makeup plus two bridal party services). Trials are booked separately and don’t count toward the minimum.

Trials

Trials are for booked brides, scheduled on weekdays whenever possible, and paid in full when booked. Trial fees are non-refundable. If you need to move a trial, please give at least 48 hours’ notice so it can be rescheduled once without a fee.

Balance and payment

The remaining balance is due one week before your event. Travel, early-start and second-artist fees are included in that final balance. Payment details are listed in your contract and invoice.

Changes and cancellations

• You may cancel up to 30 days before your event. Your deposit is forfeited.
• Cancellations within 30 days of the event are charged the full booked total.
• Reducing the number of services within 30 days of the event does not reduce the balance owed.
• Adding services is always welcome, subject to availability and timing.
• If you need to change your date, let us know as soon as possible. Your deposit can be moved once to a new date within 12 months if that date is available.

Travel

Julia travels to you. Travel is $40 plus $1 per round-trip mile from Roseville, CA. Destination and overnight bookings are quoted individually and may include lodging.

Early starts

• Start times between 6 and 7 AM: $100.
• Start times before 6 AM: $200.
• No bookings begin before 4 AM.

Larger parties

A second artist ($200) joins for six or more services, or when your timeline needs two chairs running at once. An additional assistant fee may apply for ten or more services.

On the day

• Parking: parking must be provided on location. Any parking costs are billed to the client.
• Space: please have a well-lit area with a table, an outlet and a chair for each artist, ideally near a window.
• Timing: we build your schedule in advance and start on time. Late arrivals may shorten service time, and time can’t always be extended if the schedule is full.
• Preparation: arrive with clean, fully dry hair and a clean, moisturized face, unless we’ve planned something different.
• Hair extensions: clip-in extensions should be washed and dried before your appointment.

Health and safety

Please share any allergies, skin sensitivities or recent treatments before your trial or wedding day. Julia may decline or adjust a service if a skin or scalp condition makes it unsafe. All tools are cleaned and sanitized between clients.

Photos

Julia may photograph finished looks for her portfolio and social media. If you’d prefer your photos stay private, just say so and they won’t be shared.

Weather and circumstances beyond our control

If illness, severe weather or an emergency prevents Julia from attending, she’ll arrange a trained artist from her team or refund any amounts paid for the affected services.
